Gift Shop

Run by the Blackberry Artist’s Society, the Blackberry Gift Shop has cards and artistic gifts for every occasion, from items for your garden to creations you can wear.

Blackberry Gallery

Located on the main floor of the Port Moody Arts Centre, the Blackberry Gallery consists of four exhibition spaces:  the Main Gallery, the 3D Gallery, the Plum Gallery, and the Display Case.  The Blackberry Gallery is a public gallery operated by Port Moody Arts Centre Society and is funded through the help of the City of Port Moody, the BC Gaming Commission, donations received from individuals and corporations, support from Arts Centre members, as well as a small commission taken on any artwork sold through the gallery.

Port Moody Arts Centre Members can show their support for the Gallery by participating in the annual 6 by 6 Members Only exhibion.  You can get involved by painting a 6 x 6 inch canvas or creating a three dimensional work no larger than 6 inches cubed and then donating your artwork to be part of a month long silent auction.  Information about the upcoming 6 by 6 Call for Entry is usually posted online by late summer of that year.

Wearable Art Awards

The Wearable Art Awards started as a small segment of the 2002 Evening of Artful Elegance, a fashion show fundraiser to benefit Port Moody Arts Centre Society.  Since then the Awards has grown into a competition complete with entries from all over the globe, a fully choreographed awards performance, a month long static exhibition, and $5000 worth of prizes.

Port Moody Arts Centre members have the benefit of being at the front of the line for buying tickets to the popular Awards Performance and are the first to be notified for upcoming Wearable Art Awards Calls for Entry.  For more information about the Awards, please visit www.wearableartawards.ca.
